Forum: audio Subject: Trouble with edited list after initial upload

http://www.archive.org/details/BarefootManner_StarlightJam

I initially uploaded these tracks with the alpabetical part not in order, I thought the track listing would work. Well, I did edit the name of one file to put it in the right order (the first file), now the formats is all broken down for De La Luz. In addition, the player or streamer did not update, and also has the wrong order for another song as well (the little man thing, it should be little man-pulse-little man even with the alphabetical file order, but it has both Little mans together).

How can one update these? When I tried checking out the xml file or updating it, it was giving me permission errors for a very long time. they said I should wait, but I still could not update the master xml file. Thanks!

Rename your files in the order you want them.

001_track1
002_track2, etc

Go into the FTP folder and delete everything.

Drag the newly named files in.

Hit derive when done.

That should do it.

I have done this before. I just deleted every icon in the folder I could. The protected ones won't let you delete them. You can also go into meta data editor- at the bottom fill out all the fields in each track, then rederive the files. This is more tedious though.

Thanks, I redid the files.

My only issue now is the player in the top right doesn't have the order right. We have a 'sandwich' of a littleman->pulse->littleman. The order is right in the track listing, but the player has it wrong, this happened last time as well. Any ideas why that is? Thanks.
